Val'Quirico International Food and Wine Tasting Walk

This three-and-a-half-hour tasting walk explores Val'Quirico, a planned medieval-style village in the Panotla area of Tlaxcala known for its restaurant and boutique scene. Organized through the Val'Quirico restaurant association, the walk gathers visitors at the village's central plaza before winding through its cobblestone streets. The first tasting stop is Hofu, which serves Japanese small plates, followed by a tapas tasting at Mesón de los Reyes. The route continues to La Catrina del Zócalo for a sampling of Mexican antojitos, rounding out the walk's mix of international and regional cuisine. Each stop pairs its tasting with a glass of wine or a cocktail, giving the walk its billing as a food-and-wine experience rather than a straightforward food tour.
