Visitors typically view the building from the plaza or walk through its arched ground-floor colonnade, which is open to the public during business hours and sometimes displays local artwork or historical notices along its interior walls. A visit takes only 15 to 20 minutes, since the building functions as a working government office rather than a museum, and most of its interest lies in the exterior architecture and the colonnade rather than an interior tour. Morning light works best for photographing the facade, catching the stone details and colonnade arches before the sun moves overhead and creates harsh shadows across the front.
