Mirador de los Arcos

Mirador de los Arcos is an elevated viewpoint at the intersection of Avenida Zaragoza and Calzada de los Arcos, offering one of the clearest overall views of the Acueducto de Querétaro's stone arches as they stretch across the eastern side of the city. Visitors stop here to take in the full sweep of the aqueduct from a distance, a different perspective than walking directly beneath the arches along the promenade below. A visit is brief, typically 20-30 minutes, spent taking photographs and enjoying the open sightline over the arches and the city beyond. Sunset is by far the best time to visit, when the setting sun silhouettes the arches and the structure's floodlights begin to illuminate the stonework, creating a dramatic contrast against the darkening sky. The viewpoint is a popular but not overcrowded spot, drawing photographers and couples especially in the evening hours.
