Old Town

Old Town is a bar and lounge on Calle Juárez in Chihuahua City's Zona Dorada that pairs a cocktail-forward drinks list with live weekend music in a dimmer, more intimate lounge setting than the neighborhood's straight sports bars. The crowd runs slightly older and more dressed-up, generally smart-casual, with couples and groups in their late 20s through 40s making up the bulk of the room; a dance floor sits near the small stage but the space is built more for listening and socializing than for wall-to-wall dancing. Live acts covering rock en español, jazz, and regional Mexican music play Thursday through Saturday, with recorded lounge playlists filling the gaps between sets and on the rare quieter night. The bar's programme centers on classic and signature cocktails -- margaritas, mezcal-based drinks, and a rotating seasonal special -- alongside a shorter wine and beer list. Old Town keeps different hours than most of the surrounding bars, opening only Thursday through Saturday from 8PM to 2:30AM to concentrate its live-music programming into the weekend. A cover of roughly MXN 100-150 applies on live-music nights and is waived on any night without a scheduled act; the venue does not run full bottle service, though reserving a table near the stage is recommended for weekend shows.
