Santitos Bar draws a mixed crowd of travelers and San Cristóbal de las Casas locals near the plaza end of Real de Guadalupe, casual dress, generally an adult crowd rather than a strictly young scene. There is no dedicated live band; recorded music plays at a moderate volume that rises somewhat later in the evening, keeping the early hours suited to conversation. The drinks program mixes classic cocktails with mezcal-based variations, alongside beer, giving both cocktail drinkers and mezcal fans options. The bar opens daily from 6PM, starting relaxed and growing livelier after 10PM as Real de Guadalupe fills with foot traffic; weekends see a fuller room and a later peak than weeknights. There is no cover charge and no bottle service; the space can fill after 10PM on weekends, so an earlier arrival is the simplest way to get seated without a wait, and reservations are not generally taken.
