Pacific Backpackers Hostel occupies a low-rise building in Uliga, one of the three districts that together form Majuro's DUD urban corridor. The hostel sits roughly 500 metres from the Uliga port area and is within easy walking distance of the local market, several small restaurants, and the main road that runs the length of the atoll. It is the only purpose-built backpacker hostel in the Marshall Islands, filling a notable gap in accommodation for budget travellers on the transpacific circuit.
The hostel operates a dormitory wing with six-bed mixed rooms and a small number of private twin and double rooms at slightly higher prices. Bathrooms are shared, cleaned daily, with reliable hot water in the evenings. The communal kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, and basic cookware, making it straightforward for guests to self-cater using produce from nearby supermarkets.
