The compact medieval Old Town houses the highest concentration of bars, from craft beer cellars to jazz clubs and cocktail lounges. Stiklių Street and surrounding lanes become lively after 9PM, mixing tourists with locals in atmospheric medieval settings.
Užupis
The self-declared republic across the Vilnia River offers an alternative scene of artist-run bars, intimate live music venues, and laid-back summer garden parties. Lower-key than Old Town with more local character.
Gedimino Avenue area
The main commercial avenue and surrounding streets host numerous conventional bars, sports pubs, and restaurants with outdoor terraces. More accessible and mainstream than Old Town's specialist venues.
Naujamiestis (New Town)
Vilnius's emerging hip neighborhood between the Old Town and railway station is developing an increasingly interesting bar and club scene with creative venues in repurposed industrial and Soviet-era spaces.
