Famous for its massive spiral minaret (Malwiya Tower), this 9th-century mosque is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The minaret stands 52 meters tall and is an iconic symbol of Islamic architecture. Though the mosque itself is largely in ruins, the spiral minaret remains intact and can be climbed for panoramic views. The site represents the architectural achievements of the Abbasid Caliphate.
