Facilities
Kish Island has resort-level facilities. Caspian beaches have basic to moderate facilities. Remote Persian Gulf beaches have minimal facilities - bring supplies.
Access
Separate male and female sections on most Iranian public beaches. Women must observe Islamic dress code (hijab and modest clothing) even at the beach. Some resort hotels on Kish have private beaches with more relaxed rules.
Costs
Caspian beaches are largely free public access. Kish Island beach clubs charge $5-20. Accommodation on Kish is significantly more expensive than mainland Iran.
