Grenada Nightlife Guide 2026

Discover the best bars, clubs, and evening entertainment in Grenada.

Grenada, the 'Spice Isle' of the Caribbean, captivates visitors with its pristine beaches, world-famous underwater sculpture park, and lush rainforests. This tri-island nation offers authentic Caribbean culture, aromatic spice plantations, and some of the region's most spectacular diving and snorkeling experiences.

Grenada's nightlife is relaxed and unpretentious, centered on beach bars, live music, and community events like the legendary Gouyave Fish Fry. The island is not a party destination like Barbados or St. Maarten, but offers authentic Caribbean nightlife in beautiful settings.

Nightlife Overview

🌙
Scene
Laid-back and social — expect beach bars, live reggae and soca music, rum punch, and genuine community interaction rather than club culture. Grand Anse is the main strip; True Blue Bay attracts the student crowd from St. George's University.
🕐
Peak Hours
Bars lively from 8PM-midnight; the few clubs run from 10PM-3AM on Friday and Saturday nights
👔
Dress Code
Casual Caribbean — smart casual or beach casual acceptable almost everywhere. Flip-flops are fine at most venues
💰
Average Drink
Beer: $3-5 USD for Carib beer or Banks; Cocktail: $8-15 USD for rum punch or tropical cocktail; Rum shot: $3-6 USD for local River Antoine or Clarke's Court rum; Wine: $8-15 USD per glass at better restaurants

Important Note

Most bars close around midnight on weekdays and 2AM on weekends. Gouyave Fish Fry runs until midnight on Fridays — the island's best weekly event. Carnival (Spicemas) in August transforms the island with 24-hour celebrations
