The Street of the Knights (Odos Ippoton) is a medieval cobblestone lane in the Old Town of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese islands of Greece, part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. It climbs gently from the area near the Palace of the Grand Master toward the Knights Hospitaller hospital complex, and is flanked on both sides by 15th-century Gothic inns, each bearing the stone coats of arms of the knights' langues.

It is among the most complete medieval streetscapes in Europe.

The frame is a long, narrow perspective down the lane, with continuous stone facades on either side, arched doorways, carved crests and the cobbles leading the eye along the street. Early morning is the best time, as light rakes across the cobblestones from the east, creating long shadows and warm tones on the stone. Midday sun is high and direct, flattening the street and creating strong contrast between sunlit stone and deep shade. Overcast or lightly misty mornings can soften the contrast and keep the stone colours even. Spring and autumn offer pleasant temperatures for early starts, while summer mornings are cooler than the rest of the day.

The street is almost empty before about 8AM, but fills with cruise ship visitors and tour groups later in the day, making clean compositions without people very difficult. Photographers who want an empty street should arrive at first light. A tripod is generally manageable in the early hours, but tripods become a hindrance once the lane fills, and visitors should avoid blocking access to the buildings that are in use as offices and institutions. The street itself is free to walk. Fees apply only for entry to the Palace of the Grand Master and the museum in the hospital complex at either end.

Drone use in the walled Old Town is restricted under Greek aviation rules and monument protection, so operators should check current regulations. The cobbled surface is uneven, so sturdy footwear is advisable. Cafes in the nearby squares provide water and restrooms.
