Elicriso Resort & Spa sits in wooded terrain outside Karpenisi, the main town and administrative capital of Evrytania prefecture, at the Korischades area on the town's outskirts at approximately 960 metres altitude. Karpenisi is the principal mountain resort destination in the Agrafa range of Central Greece, known for skiing at the Velouchio ski centre (roughly 20 km from town), white-water rafting and kayaking on the Karpenisiotis and Achelous rivers, and hiking in the Evrytania forest reserves. Athens is approximately 230 kilometres south via the Makrakomi junction on the E65 motorway.

The resort occupies a forested hillside above the valley, with forest views visible from most public and guest areas. The architecture blends regional stone and timber construction with resort-scale facilities: a glassed indoor pool wing, a separate spa building, and bungalow-style family accommodation distributed among the trees.
