Der Maelzer Brauhaus Lueneburg is a house brewery and restaurant in a converted historic building in Lueneburg's Altstadt, brewing its own beer on-site and serving it alongside German pub classics. Maelzer Hausbier is the centerpiece of the drinks list, brewed in-house and offered in the traditional lager and seasonal styles typical of German brewpubs, paired with Schweinebraten and Flammkuchen from a kitchen built to complement the beer rather than compete with it. The building itself retains features from its earlier historic use, giving the dining room a rustic, exposed-beam character that fits the brewpub concept, with copper brewing vessels often visible from the dining area.
