Hurghada is Egypt's largest Red Sea resort city, a 40 km coastal strip of dive centres, beach resorts and marinas, with boat trips to Giftun Island, Orange Bay and the reefs offshore.
Hurghada has the liveliest nightlife on the Egyptian Red Sea after Sharm: pubs and lounges along Sheraton Road, a polished Marina promenade with cocktail bars and live music, and a few clubs on Village Road. Most venues are licensed, unlike local coffeehouses in Dahar.
Relaxed resort scene with pubs, lounges, live bands and a handful of clubs; the Marina is the safe and upscale choice.

Nightlife tips
Stay safe and have fun.
Use Uber or Careem after dark and agree the fare before getting into a street taxi.
Carry small EGP notes; most venues add 12% service and 14% tax.
Check opening times on Google Maps because hours shift in low season and Ramadan.
Do not drink on the street; keep alcohol to licensed venues.
Women are advised to use Marina venues and stay in groups late at night.
