Casa de Campo Resort and Villas is one of the Caribbean's most celebrated luxury destination resorts, occupying a 7,000-acre estate on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic near the city of La Romana, approximately 120 kilometres east of Santo Domingo. Originally developed in the early 1970s as a private retreat for a major North American corporation, the property has grown over five decades into a multi-faceted complex encompassing hotel rooms, private villa estates, three championship golf courses, a full-service 250-slip marina, equestrian facilities, a world-class shooting centre, and the distinctive hilltop cultural village of Altos de Chavón.

Golf is the resort's most celebrated feature. Teeth of the Dog, designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1971, is consistently ranked among the top golf courses in the world and the finest in the Caribbean, with seven dramatic oceanside holes along the rugged southern coast cliffs. Two additional Pete Dye layouts on the estate — Dye Fore with its sweeping views over the Chavón River, and The Links for a more links-style experience — expand the on-site options to 45 holes of championship golf.

Altos de Chavón is a purpose-built replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean hilltop village constructed on a cliff above the Chavón River. It houses a 5,000-seat Greek-style amphitheatre that has hosted international performers, alongside boutique shops, restaurants, an art gallery, and the Altos de Chavón School of Design. The village functions as a cultural centre, event venue, and tourist attraction in its own right.

Accommodation ranges from hotel rooms and suites in the main building to private villa rentals across the estate, some with private pools, full staff, and dedicated golf cart access. The 250-slip marina supports private and charter vessels and is flanked by waterfront restaurants and boutiques. Dining across the estate spans more than a dozen outlets covering Italian, contemporary international, and casual beachside categories. The shooting centre and equestrian facilities — including polo fields and trail riding — complete a sporting offering unmatched by any other single resort in the region.

Service is professionally managed with a large staff complement appropriate to the scale of operations. Private villa arrangements include dedicated concierge support and optional private chef services. La Romana's municipal airstrip accepts private and charter flights, significantly reducing transfer times for guests.
