Divoká Šárka Swimming Pond
The most popular swimming spot in Prague, set in the beautiful Divoká Šárka ('Wild Šárka') nature reserve. The natural swimming pond (přírodní koupaliště) is fed by a stream and surrounded by meadows and forested valley. The reserve also has a small outdoor lido area with changing rooms, a children's paddling area, and a café. Very popular with local families on hot summer days.

Žluté Lázně is Prague's most popular and well-equipped outdoor leisure complex on the Vltava River, open from late spring through early autumn. The large complex includes river beaches (no swimming directly in the main Vltava, but access to the river bank), swimming pools, beach volleyball courts, outdoor fitness areas, a large beach bar and restaurant, live music events, and a relaxed beach club atmosphere. Very popular with young Praguers.
Džbán Reservoir (Reservoir Sedlec)
Džbán (meaning 'jug' or 'pitcher') is a popular swimming reservoir in Prague 6, northwest of the city. The artificial lake is surrounded by forest and meadows and features several gravel beaches, a lido area with facilities, and pleasant walking trails around the reservoir. The water quality is generally good and it is a favourite with families and locals from the surrounding residential areas.

Císařský ostrov (Emperor's Island) is a large uninhabited river island in the Vltava north of the city center, adjacent to the Prague Zoo and Troja district. The island is a protected nature reserve with meadows, poplar forests, and river banks. Several sandy and gravel beaches on the island's banks attract swimmers and sunbathers in summer. The island is accessible only by boat.
Braník River Beach
A quieter and less crowded swimming beach on the Vltava River at Braník, south of the city center. The beach has a more local, neighbourhood feel than the busier central options. A small lido area with café is adjacent. Good for those wanting a genuine local swimming experience.
