Penzion Na Paloučku Kokořín

Penzion Na Paloučku is a family-run guesthouse in the village of Kokořín, located within the Kokořínsko–Máchův kraj Protected Landscape Area in northern Central Bohemia, approximately 50 kilometres north of Prague. The landscape is defined by dramatic sandstone rock formations, pine and oak forests, narrow ravines carved by erosion over millennia, and a network of marked hiking and cycling trails threading through the terrain. The centrepiece of the area is Kokořín Castle — a Gothic fortress first documented in the 14th century and comprehensively restored in the early 20th century by the Czech architect Václav Špaček — which stands on a sandstone promontory visible from within the village.

The guesthouse maintains the character of a traditional Czech country pension: plain, well-kept rooms with practical furnishings and a welcoming atmosphere shaped by owner involvement in daily operations.
