It stands near the Mapocho River parks and the foot of Cerro San Cristobal, and the Pedro de Valdivia metro station on Line 1 is close by, giving direct access to the centre and to Las Condes. The airport is roughly 30 to 40 minutes by car. The property is best known as a business and convention hotel, with a large convention centre that hosts conferences, fairs and corporate events, and it is also a comfortable base for leisure visitors who want green space and river walks nearby. Room types listed include Classic Rooms, Club Rooms and Executive Suites, with upper floors offering views toward the Andes and the city. Dining is provided by an on-site restaurant and bar, and breakfast is typically a full buffet. The hotel has a pool, a spa and a fitness centre, which makes it popular with guests combining work and relaxation. Service is chain-standard and professional, with a concierge desk and extensive meeting facilities. Rates generally run from about CLP 120,000 to 240,000 per night (roughly USD 130 to 255). Providencia is a pleasant, safe and well-served district with parks, cafes and restaurants, and the Costanera Center and Bellavista are accessible by short taxi or metro rides. During large conferences the lobby can be busy, and guests who prefer quiet may ask for a room away from event floors.
