Parque Trianon (Parque Mário Pimenta Camargo)

Parque Trianon, formally Parque Mário Pimenta Camargo, is a small pocket of preserved Atlantic Forest set directly alongside Avenida Paulista, with landscaping partly designed by Roberto Burle Marx that keeps much of the site's native vegetation rather than replacing it with formal gardens. Shaded gravel paths wind beneath tall native trees, giving a sudden sense of forest cover just steps from the avenue's banks and skyscrapers, with benches scattered along the trails for a quiet break. The park is small enough to cover fully in twenty to thirty minutes, making it an easy add-on for anyone already walking Avenida Paulista or visiting MASP next door. Its dense canopy also makes it noticeably cooler than the surrounding street on hot days, a common reason locals duck in during a lunch break. Because it sits directly on the avenue, the park is busiest around weekday lunch hours with nearby office workers, while midday on weekends tends to be quieter aside from occasional joggers passing through.
