Pelican Reef Villas Resort is a beachfront condominium-style resort situated 2.5 miles south of San Pedro town on Ambergris Caye, Belize's largest island and most visited Caribbean destination. The property comprises 24 individually owned and furnished suites, making it one of the smallest and most exclusive condo-style properties on the island. Suite sizes range from one to three bedrooms, all featuring full kitchens with refrigerators and cookware, private terraces, and air conditioning. The south-of-San-Pedro position places the resort on a quieter stretch of the island while remaining accessible to San Pedro's restaurants, dive shops, markets, and nightlife by golf cart — the primary mode of transport on the island's sandy roads. Ambergris Caye sits at the northern terminus of the Belize Barrier Reef, the second-largest barrier reef system in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The reef begins approximately 1,400 feet offshore from the resort's private beachfront, and the calm, shallow Caribbean sea between the beach and the reef provides safe conditions for swimming and wading. A resort dock extends into the sea for direct boat departures. Three swimming pools, including one positioned directly on the beachfront sand, complement the Caribbean water access and provide alternatives for non-reef swimming hours. The beach bar serves casual food and beverages throughout the day.
