SLS Baha Mar is a design-forward luxury hotel within the Baha Mar integrated resort complex at 1 Baha Mar Boulevard, Nassau, New Providence, situated along Cable Beach approximately 8 kilometres west of Nassau's historic downtown. As one of three hotel brands anchoring the Baha Mar development — alongside Rosewood Baha Mar and Grand Hyatt Baha Mar — SLS targets a style-conscious traveller drawn to the combination of Caribbean relaxation and urbane design sophistication. The hotel opened in 2017 as part of the Baha Mar phased launch, with interiors conceived by renowned French designer Philippe Starck. His signature aesthetic of playful surrealism, layered textures, and unexpected material contrasts is evident throughout public spaces, which feature oversized chandeliers, mismatched vintage furniture, monochromatic wall treatments, and carefully curated art installations referencing both Bahamian craft traditions and Starck's broader design vocabulary. The contrast between the sunlit beach setting and the darkly refined interiors is intentional and distinctive. The hotel offers rooms and suites including signature SLS-style categories and premium suites with direct pool or ocean access. All rooms feature custom Starck-designed furniture, Italian marble bathrooms, walk-in rain showers, and high-thread-count linens. Upper-floor ocean suites offer panoramic views of Cable Beach and the Atlantic horizon. The LIV Beach Club, operated by the Miami-based LIV brand, is SLS Baha Mar's most prominent social venue, offering curated music programming and poolside service on weekend afternoons and during resort events. The Cleo restaurant serves Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-influenced cuisine for lunch and dinner, while the S Bar provides cocktails and late-night programming. As part of the Baha Mar complex, SLS guests have full access to the Baha Mar Casino, Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course, and over 40 dining and retail venues across the property.
