Baku Nightlife Guide 2026

How Baku does nightlife — neighbourhood by neighbourhood, from aperitivo hour to late-late.

Baku has 9+ bars and nightlife spots covered in this guide, led by Barfly Social Hub, Finnegan's Irish Pub and Pub William Shakespeare. Each entry below includes the practical details — what it costs, when to go, and how to plan around it.

Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, a Caspian Sea port of about 2.4 million people where a walled medieval Old City, Belle Epoque oil-boom mansions and the glass-and-steel Flame Towers share one crescent-shaped bay. Visitors come for the UNESCO-listed Icheri Sheher, the Heydar Aliyev Center, a seafront boulevard, mud volcanoes and rock art at Gobustan, and a tea-and-plov food culture at moderate prices.

Baku has the most active nightlife in the South Caucasus: Old City courtyard bars, Irish and English-style pubs around Fountain Square, rooftop lounges at the Flame Towers and Hilton, and a small club scene. Venues are busiest Thursday to Saturday and most bars close around 2-4AM, clubs around 6AM. Cocktails run AZN 14-35 (approx $8-21), local beer AZN 5-10 (approx $3-6) and a glass of Azerbaijani wine AZN 7-15 (approx $4-9). Prices are at the official 1 USD = 1.70 AZN peg.
