11AM-1PM essential and only time for Buracona Blue Eye. Avoid for most other landscape work as harsh shadows and blown-out highlights are challenging. Good for underwater and pool photography.
🌇 Golden Hour (Sunset)
6:00PM December-January / 8:00PM June-July — west-facing coastlines of Sal Island (Palmeira, Buracona) and Boa Vista beaches are spectacular. Mindelo harbor reflects colors beautifully.
